I approach web development with a view towards keeping the design and structure of a site as navigable and widely accessible as possible. Being an artist, I know how it is all too easy to design as if everyone has the latest and greatest Internet tools. I am also aware just how easily this can make a website extremely slow to download, or confusing and tedious to individuals using assistive technology who want to visit your site. Discounting this can limit your audience far more than you might think. Therefore, as a web designer my first priority is to educate clients on the advantages of placing well-written content, clear navigation structure, and company branding ahead of other concerns. At the end of a project, I hope to have struck a balance between inviting appearance and practical use. Please browse the examples below to judge for yourself.
